problems with m-audio USB fast track

Hi all,
Ihave an m-audio fast track USB, i want to record guitar and vocals, now, when i'm recording guitar, the sound comes through both headphones so that's absolutely fine, but when i go to play my recording back, it only comes through one headphone, how can i fix this?
